Stories You Couldn't Post In The Brewery

Relax in southern comfort on the east bank of the Mississippi. You're just around the corner from Beale Street and Sun Records. Watch the ducks, throw back a few and tell us what's on your mind.

As always , thanks for taking the time to venture an opinion .

I had a good dig around the subject of deportation and finally landed on this piece ,
https://www.csmonitor.com/USA/2024/0813 ... mmigration
It seems to have a bit more balance compared to many other ,perhaps more left leaning stories that pop up .

That being said ,it does tend to gloss over the history of Operation Wetback ,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetback

I'll look at the wiki later... Not sure how reliable it is these days... I was more frustrated with the media and how uncouth it has become. Just feel bad for the younger generation but, then again, being blind to how things work maybe is no better even if it may have seemed that way...

Not sure what will happen with the immigration thing. I'm all for handling bad characters. Always wonder if these poorer countries give their prison population the option to take off as long as they go somewhere else. Would save a bit of money and resources I'd imagine.. We should start doing that..lol
I'd take Venezuela any day over prison......

It is not an option: it is a requirement.
Maduro stipulated that any prisoner released is required to enter the US or they will be re-incarcerated.

Yeah, the same guy who moved Christmas to October because he said Venezuelans needed to cheer up, when, in fact, it was to cover up the mess they made with the election. So he decorated everything with reindeer, Christmas trees, fake snow, etc...

The same guy who has screens in public avenues with cartoons of him portrayed as a superhero holding a Bible fighting Elon Musk portrayed as the devil.

View at your own risk, it is so cringy

Police Arrest 14 People From Aurora, Colorado, Apartment Complex Taken Over By Tren de Aragua Gang – ‘Tortured’ Residents Found Tied Up and Stabbed

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/1 ... t-complex/
Trump was right again!

Early Tuesday morning, police arrested fourteen people at an Aurora, Colorado, apartment complex taken over by Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

According to police, ‘tortured’ residents were found tied up, stabbed and pistol-whipped.

“They were pistol-whipped, they were beat, they were mistreated,” Aurora Police Chief Todd Chamberlain said on Tuesday. “So does that fall in the category of torture for me? Yeah, it does.”

“This is without question a gang incident. I don’t know which gang they are affiliated with yet,” Chamberlain said, adding that “there is a high assumption that they may be affiliated with the TdA [Tren de Aragua] gang,”
The fake news media attacked President Trump for bringing up the violent takeover of apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado, by Tren de Aragua gang members.

“We have millions of people pouring into our country. … You look at Aurora in Colorado. They are taking over the towns. They’re taking over buildings. They’re going in violently,” Trump said during a presidential debate in Philadelphia. “They’re destroying our country. They’re dangerous. They’re at the highest level of criminality. And we have to get them out.”
These criminals need to be deported and those of us living with this problem don't appreciate those that misrepresent the intentions of the people that seek to have them removed.

It amazes me that people who knew the media lied to them about Covid will swallow hook-line-and-sinker every other lie they dish out.

This one might provide some counterbalance for our overseas friends (e.g. Tubetec) to understand how a large percentage of Americans view what has been happening and why Trump was elected again despite all of his flaws.

This story surfaced only hours ago on all the major US news outlets ,
At this stage the item and its associated horrific videos have been removed without trace from most of them .
I found one news outlet who offered the public the chance to vote on the objectiveness of the article , not surprisingly it was branded 'hard left' by the readership.
Robert Brooks.JPG
Robert Brooks in a brief moment of respite from the beatings he recieved from four members of prison staff , of course many more stood by and were complicit .
In a segment of video I watched one of the bigger guys steps aside , removes his gloves , checks his hand is ok , then calmly puts the gloves back on and starts beating shit out of the guy again .

While you claim I cherry-pick stories...

There is also a story about a prisoner beating a corrections officer to death about the same time but I'm sure that doesn't serve your needs or objectives so I won't bother to post it.

Both are horrible and shouldn't have occurred and I'm pretty sure one or more of these guys will be spending the rest of their lives in jail.

Then there's the immigrant that set a woman on fire in the NY subway who is seen being burned to death standing with her walker.

But Trump is mean to deport them in your world view.

You hate Trump and cops we all know it.
