I just looked and the power contacts are rated 16A up to 50V.
Cat-5 plus 768W of DC power at 48V.
Dante interface gear that doesn't have to be locally-powered. Very cool.

Good god, that looks ridiculous. I'll just shorten it to "exceeds capabilities". : )

Those are useless current ratings, when you can't even get the wire in the housing, but....nice to know it exceeds? I don't see myself trying to solder up one of those. The 7 is already borderline impossible, you really need a larger connector at that point.
