My Father, Geo-Engineering Pilot

Relax in southern comfort on the east bank of the Mississippi. You're just around the corner from Beale Street and Sun Records. Watch the ducks, throw back a few and tell us what's on your mind.

My Father, Geo-Engineering Pilot

This from the Temple, Texas newspaper around 1945...

Whether it's rain-making or something else, Geo-Engineering has been going on for a long, long time...

Theres good evidence from the days after Sept 11 and during lockdown that air pollution has a signifigant effect on the weather ,more specifically the amount of the suns energy that reaches the ground . That nature ,us and our surroundings are in a sort of feedback loop is a certainty ,but the full extent of our effect is hard to tell without any 'control' to measure against .

Whats quite interesting is back in the days of the industrial revolution , growth of cities was limited by the amount of animal dung that needed to be scraped up off the streets into a pile , jump forward 150-200 years and now air pollution from internal combustion engines has a very signifigant impact on health in big cities .

Having said all this I do agree this so called 'green energy revolution' doesnt add up globally , even though it might have some impact locally in places that can afford it , the downsides are well hidden by people whos working conditions dont matter .

Back in the days before science ,we thought prayers and offerings to the appease the gods would ensure a good harvest , now we know better of course .

Airman Kirkwoods cloud busting shows he was a man well ahead of his time , it was probably the 1960's before the connection with Co2 output and the weather began to gain wider acceptance .

If there was a way to stop the rain the Irish probably would have figured it out by now ,
without the gulf stream bathing us with warmer waters ,which brings lots of rain we'd probably have a very much colder climate .
Were on a similar latitude to Nova Scotia here , but we hardly ever see snow .

Trying to control the weather ,its always going to be a bit hit and miss , but theres no doubt mankinds activities influence it and the damage it does ,
Most of the towns and villages where I live are set in valleys with a river running through it , in more recent years flash flooding is all the more common due to run off from new housing developments on higher ground .
New housing developments here now have to have rain water capture and hold systems built in , its usually a large underground concrete tank .
The last big flood we saw just over a year ago , most of the old parts of the town were submerged under 3-6 feet of water , a previous flood back in 2017 wasnt as severe , but that probably wasnt so much to do with the rain , more a problem with the drainage system becoming innundated , but it does also fit in with the climate change proponents argument .
