Zappa changed the group's name and, according to Black, boasted that "if you guys learn my music, I'll make you rich and famous." "He took care of half of that promise, because I'm damn sure I didn't get rich," Black recalled.

JR - Do you have a clean scan of that R/EP article you wrote? I think I have a copy that you sent but am not sure if I have the whole thing.

Re: Mid Side M-S Matrix Uses No Precision Resistors
Guys - Roger has kicked around the idea of doing an M-S board based on this trick using the 1240. What I'm thinking we would want to do is a board which provides simultaneous encode/decode with relay bypass. Would we also want it to be balanced I/O?

Guys - Roger just sent me an image of the layout and it's very compact. I think this is going to make a nice little kit. Thanks for doing this!

Re: Using the THAT1646 As A Transistor Pre-Driver/Headphone Amp
Thanks for the update. I'm not a big headphone listener but I have a hard time taking them off when listening to it. I handed them over to my wife and had a hard time getting them back. I'm glad the level is hot enough. Since it's unity gain it might need, with -10 sources, a little help up front de...

Hey Radiance you're welcome!
Thanks for the data.
One thing I can't tell from the photos is whether or not the Vbe multiplier transistors are firmly attached to the heatsinks. Is it clamped somehow? Since it's on the backside I couldn't tell.
