Re: Gentle persuasion over time

I hate cold weather... freezing rain coming out of my downspout as sleet. hard_water.jpg today mother nature tried to take out my power line by dropping some pine tree limbs that were overloaded with ice. limbs.jpg The pile of wood in the background is the limb that fell this morning and hung up on ...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

why tell people that they would DNR..? To pre-program people and shift the Overton window to "normalize" culling of the population. like abortion? The Globalists are serial killers: They get off on telling you in advance what they're going to do to you. It becomes more obvious by the day that they ...

Re: The Corona Virus Hoax of 2020

That story smells funny... why tell people that they would DNR..? unless perhaps they were trying to scare them into safer behavior.

Of course the elephant in the room is that we all die, and socialized medicine will only save those with influence (or money).

Re: digital thermometers.... arghhh

looks like I need to rename my weather forecaster "rarely wrong" instead fo "never wrong". Since last night we have accumulated 1/2" of rain, but forecast stubbornly says cloudy. True it is cloudy, but what about the rain?

Re: home improvement turns into science fair projects?

I am already losing interest in this project (again). My long term plan still is to keep the rain water out in the first place. In recent weeks I have successfully unclogged my gutters (pine straw and wet leaves) and installed gutter guards (covers) so they should not clog again. I have plastic dra...

Re: Transfer Filter / Neumann HT75 Replacement

Not remotely comparable but back in the 70s/80s my kit business sold a very inexpensive kit (P-91?) that provided 2 pole HPF and 2 pole LPF, I'm a little sketchy on the details but as I recall I shipped it with a single set of capacitors, but multiple resistor sets so my customers could select diffe...

Finally got my smaller diameter (lighter weight) 3/8" hose. IMG_20200507_135104450.jpg I wish I had this sorted earlier in the year... but its all good. I can now spray closer to the tops of my pecan trees. JR https://www.proaudiodesignforum.com/forum/php/download/file.php?id=710&t=1 I just ordered...

Re: Super Low Distortion Ultra Pure Audio Oscillators Revisited

Hi folks, Just been through this thread and it looks quite exciting. I have a couple of questions though: 1 what would be involved in turning the oscillator into a switched full range device (20 to 20k) switches, more components, and probably a few tweaks. But Wayne is the man for this one. 2 if yo...

Re: beverly hillbilly storm windows and cybernetic heat control

I made another tweak to my red neck electric blanket implementation. I moved the blanket under the mattress pad so it is warming me from below, this makes it easier to moderate body comfort by adjusting the upper blankets. I haven't touched the dimmer setting for a few days now so that looks dialed ...
