Banggood made me laugh the first time I visited their site to buy an LCR meter.

Re: Great pulls from the recycling scrapheap

It is a common mistake. I sometimes capitalize "S" for seconds which should be lower case. JR had a big thing about "bus" and "buss." I think "buss" came from Bussman. The grounded center tap is not something we see often in the US on 110/120 branch circuits. ...

Re: A Quadrature Power-Summed Compressor Sidechain For "The Uno Compressor"

I've been on an assembled board-building binge, about 11, and I'm about halfway through replacing sold inventory. Soldering, like mowing the yard, gives me some thinking time. While thinking about this post I got the idea of adding a summing input to the VCA's current-to-voltage "IV" conve...

Re: A Quadrature Power-Summed Compressor Sidechain For "The Uno Compressor"

Agree with Gold. I seldom need more than 5dB, and on the Pico's with 10/20 options I've never run them in 20. If I'm running over 10dB GR, I'm probably looking at the bottom of the range more than the top. I personally wouldn't find any point to an analog meter with processors like these. Agreed. I...

Re: Great pulls from the recycling scrapheap

Great find!

The "0.75 Kva" label bothers me.

"v" and "a" were people and should be uppercase "V" and "A."

Tension over the typical ranges used doesn't make any significant difference in the delay times or damping.

Re: Waveulator ME Saturator Construction Information

I just updated the schematic, assembly instructions and Mouser Project Manager for the Waveulator in the first post. R64 and R65 values were changed to make the meter "V" voltage output equal to 2.4V for 5 dB gain reduction. 10 dB GR is approximately 4.8V at the "V" Phoenix conne...
