Re: If are still not using Linux, now it is a good time to start

The motivation seems to be total surveillance with "convenience" the way to lull users into accepting it.

Re: If are still not using Linux, now it is a good time to start

I ran Wine under Ubuntu 16.04 and could do a lot with it. The hardware was from 2010 and it was slower than I liked. Funny you should bring this up - I was thinking about buying a "cheap" refurbished machine from Micro Center to run Linux on about an hour ago. There's a Windows 11 24H2 &qu...

Re: SSL2 with REW

WRT to polarity-reversed analog loopback producing similar results the conclusion I might draw is that one of the converters, either ADC or DAC, dominates distortion generation with the other having a less significant contribution.

Re: SSL2 with REW

Looks very good.
An interesting comparison would be to reverse the polarity of the loop-through and see how much, if at all, it changes.
I see that on the 2i2 deep in the mud where, with one polarity, the distortion products cancel and the other they add.

Re: Group DIY Censorship Is Out Of Control

There was a good question arose in Brewery in the midst of all the kerfuffle a few months back , are the GDIY technical documents archived ? That would make for a good project. They can't claim ownership of them. I did archive Kubarth. https://www.proaudiodesignforum.com/forum/php/viewtopic.php?p=1...
