Digilent Analog Discovery 2

This is where we talk about testing, measuring and repairing things. Sometimes we have to repair the equipment we use to test, measure and repair other things. It's an endless cycle of fixing the broken things we need to fix other broken things.

Digilent Analog Discovery 2

This looks pretty cool. You get a lot for your money compared to a stand alone digital scope. It has 2 differential inputs so great for audio. 14 bit resolution which is amazing for the price. I was of the mind that a USB oscilloscope was a waste of money because if the software stops being supported you are S.O.L. I didn't know that the stand alone scopes are basically windows machines that go obsolete. I think National Instruments will be in business for a while. I don't see needing anything like LabView but it integrates with that software.

I saw another one from Analog Devices (ADALM1000) and Elektor the other day.
This is part "Maker" movement and "STEM" education.
These devices represent a tremendous value.
