Welcome to the Peabody Lounge

Relax in southern comfort on the east bank of the Mississippi. You're just around the corner from Beale Street and Sun Records. Watch the ducks, throw back a few and tell us what's on your mind.

Welcome to the Peabody Lounge

Post by mediatechnology »

If you're ever in Memphis you'll want to visit the Peabody Hotel. Everything runs in relaxed slow-motion there.

Drop by the bar, log on to our forum and tell us what's on your mind. And, by the way, you're sitting in the middle of the musical universe. Oh, there is one little thing: Don't ask your waiter if they serve duck. They don't.

I lived at the Peabody for months while working at both Ardent and the Fire Station. Gary picked up most of the tab: I think SSL's net cost was about $30/night. I didn't really like living in hotels for long periods: The Peabody (and Memphis) were an exception.

Thanks for joining us here BTW!

I'm sure you were able to go to Sunday brunch during you're extended stay. Talk about swanky :ugeek:
