Family Shelter Designs for the Atomic Age (1962)

Relax in southern comfort on the east bank of the Mississippi. You're just around the corner from Beale Street and Sun Records. Watch the ducks, throw back a few and tell us what's on your mind.

Family Shelter Designs for the Atomic Age (1962)

Post by mediatechnology »

I grew up during the cold war. No home library, particularly one in an "Atomic Ranch," should be without the 1962 Department of Defense best-seller "Family Shelter Designs."

We upload a lot of the off-beat stuff here. I always thought the A-frame shelter on page 23 looked cozy.

The SmartMeter instruction manual is always a top download. Let's see if Family Shelter Designs makes it. I found a copy on eBay for $9.95. So far I've found at least two here at the 'ranch.
