Texas Winter

Relax in southern comfort on the east bank of the Mississippi. You're just around the corner from Beale Street and Sun Records. Watch the ducks, throw back a few and tell us what's on your mind.

I see your temperature and raise you humidity...

Actually you guys are beating me on temps... but it's damned uncomfortable.

but then again, summers often are.

We had about 3 days in a row over 100 here, which is abnormal, I think all set records, and humidity stayed well above 50%.

It is really nice to hear that MS isn't the worst at something for a change...

MS is not bad, but I would second a vote for TX.. Austin has a great music scene, the state is business friendly and probably reasonable to live if you get away from big cities.

CA has been nutz for a long long time, but I don't need to tell you that. Governor moonbeam is up to his old trix. with high speed rail to nowhere

My other brother who is still alive lives down by San Diego, and he is a well paid consultant so he could live anywhere, but his wife has a good gig out there so for now he's a california resident.,

Road trip to "south by south west" nest year...

Agreed change is always a little scary, and disruptive if you have a business.

These days with so much internet based work, anywhere in the US with DSL could work... Unless you fly a lot, access to a major airport is not that important.

Good luck...

Wayne can certainly tell you more about TX than I.
