I remembered that one of my MM preamp customers shared his MC experiences with the network in series with pin 1. ............................................. The thing about that resistor, capacitor, switch network is that it lets the camel's nose into the tent. It would be better to hardwire pin ...

It would be better if: a] the AC line voltage Safety Ground attached to the chassis near where the AC cord enters the chassis. b] the audio circuit common is attached to the chassis at a single point near the audio input connectors. c] the DC supply common is attached to the chassis at the same sing...

I think that I might still have a set of the original pc boards up in the attic. Getting the selectors switches brought the project to a halt.
