Re: MicMix MasterRoom Spring Reverb Project

Great. Thanks for that info on the internal construction - makes me feel a bit more ok about shipping. I'll get the seller to write "fragile" and "ship horizontally" and hope for the best I guess - I know that's no guarantee, but it might help. That and a lot of padding :D I will...

Hi Guys and Gals... I finally found a MicMix Master Room for sale here in Australia. Just paid for it today. Unfortunately it has to be shipped from another state - I'm a little worried about damaging the springs in trasit (my BX20 has some spring/coil issues which seriously effect one side - i'd ha...

Re: MicMix MasterRoom Spring Reverb Project

Thanks wayne, I'll post a picture when I get the unit from my friend... might be a little while as i'm about to go on tour. It'll be interesting - hopefully i'll just be able to track down the problem even without a schem. He says he really likes the one channel that does work - and this guy has two...

Re: Relay Bypass - "full" or "half"?

thanks for the confirmation - i'll give it a go half bypass! i didn't really consider that i might want the bypass to work when the unit is powered OFF - although i love that feature, and when i work live it has saved my ass more than once! it IS nice to be able to have something in the chain and ju...

Relay Bypass - "full" or "half"?

hey guys - just looking for a bit of advice: when doing a relay bypass for a modern (10k or more input impedance) line level device - do you think there's much point doing a "full" two relay bypass (ALA roger's old bypass boards)? or should i just save myself the extra relay and just swich...
