Re: ~QUESTIONS ABOUT "LOCAL"-NEGATIVE-FEEDBACK OUTPUT SECTIONS THAT ARE BASED ON A TERTIARY-WINDING OUTPUT TRANSFORMER~

I found this. I beg your pardon, Wayne, if linking it turns out to be some copyright violation. Some of the schematics use an extra transformer winding for feedback.http://lcweb2.loc.gov/master/mbrs/recor ... Misc.).pdf

Re: ~QUESTIONS ABOUT "LOCAL"-NEGATIVE-FEEDBACK OUTPUT SECTIONS THAT ARE BASED ON A TERTIARY-WINDING OUTPUT TRANSFORMER~

Did you measure the signal coming off the tertiary when you energized the primary? The 9 ohms could mean there is a step up there too but might also just mean smaller wire diameter. Curious if the term you've used "tertiary winding" is that yours or is it in the spec sheet? The reason I ask is that ...

Re: Bootstrapped Op Amp Articles

I think I may have an excuse for trying a bootstrapped opamp circuit. In my case to minimize distortion. I was looking for an audio grade op amp for doing filters at +/-36V rails, where the non inverting configured inputs may see up to full rail voltage. Power output is very low but precision at lar...

By the way. That voice forwarding technology "scandal"/ tale, I don't mean to make light of it, but that is some really great reading. Kind of x-files like. I am sure it must have been a quite a hassle indeed! I don't think I would not have enjoyed it at all. Whenever you are ready to stage the ham/...

Re: Pro Audio Design Forum taught me all I know, can I build anything without getting sued?

Maybe something like having~ 3-5 boards fab'd, build up one or two, let er rip and see how it sounds? I mostly just want one. I was thinking I maybe I could make the one bitchen vinyl ripping rig to eclipse all others. Wayne you've been very gracious with your wealth of knowledge and hosting the web...

Pro Audio Design Forum taught me all I know, can I build anything without getting sued?

Kind of like divine archive of knowledge this website is completely caked with amazingly instructive circuit descriptions and discussions of all manner of wonderful audio circuit topology, and these really unique schematics in the always recognizable hand drawn but easily readable style of this site...

Re: A Low Noise Balanced Input Moving Coil Preamp Using the ZTX851

Wow. That is impressive, especially after learning about the the details of the hum torture chamber you are running it in. That's a lot of gain and a lot of cable with all that stray field around. I think I might need one too.

Re: Out-of-band and Flux Loop Tests

I'll leave a 5 mm space on the PCB for a 1 nF film C for problematic RFI situations but its not required for stability. This post is a bit late to the party. Did you ever try with moving magnet inductances? Maybe some of your customers, couldn't imagine who they might be, would want to try running ...
